BOARD CERTIFIED IN FAMILY LAW – TEXAS BOARD OF LEGAL SPECIALIZATION

Family law issues are highly emotional and personal. The focus should be on each client’s individual needs and goals.

Texas Board of Legal SpecializationCynthia Palmer is a Junior Partner with the law firm. She previously worked for the Harris County Attorney’s Office in the Child Protective Division and at the Collin County District Attorney’s Office Family Justice Division, which explains why she handles a lot of the firm’s cases involving CPS.

Cynthia grew up in Dallas, Texas and her father often predicted that she would grow up to be an attorney because she could “argue with a fencepost.” While attending Texas A&M,  she served as Vice President of New Members for Alpha Chi Omega and was also the MBA/Law Society Chairperson. She decided to work in family law because Cynthia herself was adopted. This experience allows Cynthia to not only empathize with clients throughout the legal process, but also to understand and consider how much of an impact family legal issues can have on an individual and a family in the future.

Cynthia is a member of the Dallas bar Association, the Denton County Bar Association and has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star for four consecutive years (2010-2014). She is an avid reader, assists at the City Ballet recital every year, and can be found enjoying time with her husband, two young daughters, and their Maltese “Bunny”.
