Associate Attorney

Sarah Peters joined the firm in August of 2017 as an associate family law attorney. She received her undergraduate degree in marketing from Texas Tech University in 2012 and went on to obtain her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law in 2015. In law school, she focused her legal studies in alternative dispute resolution and was a member of her law school’s mediation team, winning several awards including Best Overall Mediator at an international competition. She also mediated numerous cases as an advanced clinician of the Conflict Resolution Clinic.

Prior to joining The Wright Firm, Sarah’s work dealt with high-value trusts and estates and federal compliance with complex banking regulations. She clerked in the family law department of a well-known Dallas law firm in law school and she also has experience with personal injury litigation.

Sarah is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, and the Texas Association of Mediators. She was selected for the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers’ Leadership Class, serves as Vice President of Philanthropy for Alpha Delta Pi’s Dallas Alumnae Association, and is a member of Junior League of Dallas’ Provisional Class. Sarah has always had a passion for helping others and is excited to get back to helping families.
