The practice of law is still a calling for me and is foremost about uniquely solving client’s legal matters and building long-term client centered relationships.

Paul Wright is a partner with the firm and the managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office. Paul is a licensed attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. A Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas graduate, he received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Masters of Science in Taxation degrees from the University of North Texas. Paul received his law degree from South Texas College of Law, where he served as an Assistant Note and Comment Editor of the South Texas Law Review. Prior to practicing law, Paul served as a tax professional for BDO Seidman, LLP, representing businesses and individuals in all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and controversy at the federal, state, and local levels. Paul is a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas, where he serves as a Eucharistic Minister and is a member of Knights of Columbus.

Paul’s practice concerns fiduciary and business litigation, contested and uncontested probate and guardianship matters as well as estate and business planning. As a CPA, Paul stands out from other probate attorneys. His litigation practice focuses on resolving estate and trust disputes as well as representing closely-held and middle-market businesses. Paul’s transaction practice involves counseling individuals, families, widows, business owners and professionals (primarily physicians) in estate and tax planning, wealth preservation, post-divorce planning and asset rehabilitation and advising business owners regarding on-going legal matters that affect businesses. He is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Texas Society of CPA’s, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the National College of Probate Judges: just to name a few.
