Marianela (Mari) Flores - Associate Attorney

Marianela (Mari) Flores is an associate at the firm. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Government from Texas Woman’s University. While at Texas Woman’s University, Mari worked at Legal Aid of Northwest Texas which provides pro bono legal services to indigent clients. Mari received her law degree from SMU Dedman School of Law. While in law school, she participated in the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic where she was appointed by juvenile district court judges to serve as guardian/attorney ad litem for abused and neglected children in Dallas County. As Guardian/Attorney ad litem, she was responsible for determining the best interests of the children and representing the children's voice in court. Prior to joining the firm, Marianela worked as an associate attorney at a Dallas Immigration law firm.

Mari’s primary practice area is family law, including child custody modification and enforcement and divorce. She also handles all areas of immigration law including family based cases, employment based cases, and citizenship cases.

Mari is fluent in Spanish.
