Jenna P. Wright is a partner with the firm and a resident of the firm's Dallas office. Jenna received her Bachelors degree from Baylor University and her Masters of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University. She received her law degree from Southern Methodist University, where she served as Assistant Texas Survey Editor of the SMU Law Review. Prior to practicing law, Jenna served as an audit professional for a major public accounting firm providing assurance services to clients in the financial services industry, including the asset management, banking, and capital markets sectors. Jenna clerked for the Honorable Nathan L. Hecht at the Texas Supreme Court, for the Honorable Frances Maloney of the Fifth District Court of Appeals and for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Jenna's reported cases include: Vetco Sales, Inc. v. Vinar, et al., No. 03-10527, 2004 WL 179379 (5th Cir. Jan. 28, 2004); Jenevein v. Friedman, 114 S.W.3d 743 (Tex. App.-Dallas 2003); In re Vincent, No. 02-03-00336-CV, 2003 WL 23015164 (Tex. App.-Fort Worth Dec. 23, 2003); Barnard v. Barnard, No. 02-03-00024-CV (Tex. App.-Fort Worth filed Jan. 29, 2003); and In re T.N. and M.N., No. 02-03-00350-CV (Tex. App.-Fort Worth filed Nov. 21, 2003). She currently serves as a contributing editor, under SMU Law School Professor John J. Mylan, for two tax treatises: Hood & Mylan, Federal Taxation of Close Corporations (West Publishing); and Hood, Mylan & O'Sullivan, Closely Held Businesses in Estate Planning (Aspen Publications). Publications also include Renee C. Lovelace, Texas Attorneys' Planning Guide for Representing Families with Disabled Family Members (authored and co-authored chapters on surrogate decision-making, third-party liability, guardianships and special education). Jenna is also a regular contributor to the Dallas Bar Association's Headnotes newsletter. Jenna is a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas, where she serves as a member of Our Lady's Alter Society and the Mothers' Association.
