Emily joined the firm as an associate in 2006 practicing in all areas of family law. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University and her law degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law. Emily was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Faternity and Texas Tech University Honors College giving her the opportunity to study abroad in London and Paris. She participated in the Client Counseling Competition, Advanced Mock Trial Competition and with the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Emily clerked for the 99th District Court in Lubbock, Texas, worked as a Summer Associate in London, England, where she primarily focused on Immigration law and Entertainment law, and interned at the Dallas County District Attorney's Office in the Felonies Division.
