Collaborative Law
"Collaborative law" is a way to resolve disputes that allow both of the parties in a family case to work out differences using cooperative strategies rather than adversarial techniques. As part of the collaborative law method, both parties retain separate attorneys whose job it is to help them settle their differences without going to court. For many clients, collaborative law is an excellent alternative to a contentious trial or mediation.
At The Wright Firm, our firm works to find the solution that is right for you. Patrick Wright is trained in the collaborative law process, and our firm is very familiar with this newer type of family law. If collaborative law is the option that is best suited to your family or divorce issue, we can help you achieve a solution that results in a "win-win" situation.
It has been our experience that an atmosphere conducive to collaboration paves the way for settlement of a family dispute much earlier in the process. Our goal is to assist you to achieve the best result as efficiently as possible. This often helps preserve relationships going forward after divorce is finalized, which is not only in the interest of our clients, but their families and children as well.
